Dr. Stetler

Dr. Stetler graduated in 1985 from Baylor University in Waco. (Sic em Bears!) After completing his dental education at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, he started his dental practice in Wylie in 1989. The office moved to the present location in 1992. Dr. Stetler is involved in several organizations including the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and the Fourth District Dental Society. He is a member of the Peer Review Committee for the dental society.

Dr. Stetler is most proud of his membership in the Academy of General Dentistry. He recently completed the requirements needed for the prestigious Fellowship Award for the AGD. This award is only given to dentists who complete a minimum of 500 hours of continuing education and pass an eight hour examination. Less than 10% of all general dentists ever achieve this award. Dr. Stetler received his award aboard the USS Midway aircraft carrier in San Diego in June 2007.

Dr. Stetler has served as a Faculty Speaker/Lecturer for the Pride Institute, a dental consulting firm in San Francisco, California. He is involved with the Wylie community, having served as a member of the Parks and Recreation Board and as Director for the Wylie Chamber of Commerce.

While attending Baylor University, he met his wife, Lori, a board certified Dermatologist in private practice in Dallas, Texas. The Stetlers are actively involved with their sons, Jeff and Brandon. Jeff will be attending Emory University in the fall. They have lost count of how many baseball and volleyball games they have witnessed! Dr. Stetler enjoys golf, snow skiing, and travel.

Dr. Stampe

Dr. Stampe earned her BS in biology from the University of North Texas and attended Baylor College of Dentistry, where she graduated as valedictorian in 1996. After graduation, she was one of five dentists chosen nationally to attend the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. It was here that she trained in implantology, cosmetic dentistry, and other advanced techniques. Dr. Stampe has completed more than 825 hours of continuing education and is one of the youngest recipients of the prestigious Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Stampe has active membership in many local, state, and national dental organizations. She has served as New Dentist Chairman for the Dallas County Dental Society, on the Membership Committee, and as an alternate delegate to the Texas Dental Association. Her current memberships include the Texas Association of Women Dentists where she has served as VP N.E., the American Dental Association, Christian Medical Dental Society, TDA, AGD, and the DCDS. Dr. Stampe has served locally as a mentor to Wylie High School and participates in the health professions internship program.

On the home front, Dr. Stampe and her husband Ken are actively involved in church and neighborhood activities, youth sports and chasing around their two young children. They also enjoy gardening and home projects which keep them very busy!

Administrative Staff

Dondi - Financial Manager:
Dondi has a BBA in Finance and has been with the practice since 1992. She and her husband, Greg, live in Wylie and have two children, Tyler and Tawnee. They are active at First Baptist Church of Wylie as well as in their community. Dondi enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and going to sporting events. She loves to see patients return year after year because of the trust and confidence they have in our doctors and team.

Rachel – Administrative Coordinator :
Rachel has been in dentistry since 2007 and is the newest member of our team. She lives in Rockwall with her husband Darrell, her 12 year old son, and three stepchildren. Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and friends. In her spare time, she likes going to the lake, camping, being outdoors and watching movies. She attends Lakepointe Baptist Church in Rockwall.

Clinical Assistants

Christi - Registered Dental Assistant :
Christi brings over 17 years of dental experience to Wylie Dental Associates. She has been with our team since 2005, and loves our friendly, relaxed work environment. Christi gets to know our patients on a personal level, listening to their concerns and making them feel comfortable in the process. She attended Robert E. Lee High School in Midland, Texas and received her dental assistant training from Cambridge College in Aurora, Colorado. In her free time, Christi enjoys tennis, walking, being outdoors, and spending time with her family and two dogs, Lucy and Molly. Christi is also an active member of the Prestonwood Baptist Church.

Tunisia – Registered Dental Assistant :
Tunisia has worked in dentistry since 1999 and has been with our office since 2007. She lives in Wylie with her husband, Ken and two daughters. She is a member of First Baptist Church in Wylie.

Amber – Registered Dental Assistant :
Amber has worked in dentistry since 2001 and has been a member of our team since February 2010. She lives in Wylie with her husband, Jason and daughter, Ryley. She enjoys jogging, shopping and spending time with her family and friends.

Shana – Registered Dental Assistant :
Shana has worked in dentistry since 2004. She enjoys being with her family and stays busy preparing to welcome her first baby - a girl - in September.

Hygienists

Lisa - Dental Hygienist:
Lisa, a 1994 graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry, began her job here in 1998. She lives in Murphy with husband Steve, son Braden, and their furry friends, Cookie and Daisy. Out of the office, she likes to shop on eBay, swim, and hangout with family and friends. Lisa looks forward to reconnecting with current patients when they come in and developing strong bonds with her new patients.

Jacque - Dental Hygienist:
A 1998 graduate of Wylie High School and a 2002 graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry, Jacque joined our team in 2002. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two children. Jacque believes in ensuring that her patients have sturdy, vibrant smiles for years to come.

Jodi – Registered Dental Assistant :
Jodi has worked in dentistry for the last 20 years. She started out working in the front office and graduated dental hygiene school in Tyler, Texas in 1995. She and her husband, Scott moved to Wylie in 2007. The have two children as well as two 4-legged family members. She strives to help her patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles that will last a lifetime. She desires to treat each patient the way she would want to be treated and makes it her mission to serve God by serving others.
