Dr. Stetler


Dr. Stetler graduated in 1985 from Baylor University in Waco. (Sic em Bears!) After completing his dental education at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, he started his dental practice in Wylie in 1989. The office moved to the present location in 1992. Dr. Stetler is involved in several organizations including the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and the Fourth District Dental Society. He is a member of the Peer Review Committee for the dental society.

Dr. Stetler is most proud of his membership in the Academy of General Dentistry. He recently completed the requirements needed for the prestigious Fellowship Award for the AGD. This award is only given to dentists who complete a minimum of 500 hours of continuing education and pass an eight hour examination. Less than 10% of all general dentists ever achieve this award. Dr. Stetler received his award aboard the USS Midway aircraft carrier in San Diego in June 2007.

Dr. Stetler has served as a Faculty Speaker/Lecturer for the Pride Institute, a dental consulting firm in San Francisco, California. He is involved with the Wylie community, having served as a member of the Parks and Recreation Board and as Director for the Wylie Chamber of Commerce.

While attending Baylor University, he met his wife, Lori, a board certified Dermatologist in private practice in Dallas, Texas. The Stetlers are actively involved with their sons, Jeff and Brandon. Jeff attends Emory University in Atlanta, GA and wants to go to medical school like his mom. Brandon attends St. Mark’s School of Texas. They have lost count of how many baseball and volleyball games they have witnessed! Dr. Stetler enjoys golf, snow skiing, and travel.

Dr. Stampe

Dr. Stampe earned her BS in biology from the University of North Texas and attended Baylor College of Dentistry, where she graduated as valedictorian in 1996.  After graduation, she was one of five dentists chosen nationally to attend the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program.  It was here that she trained in the areas of implantology, cosmetic dentistry, and other advanced techniques.  Dr. Stampe has completed over 900 hours of continuing education and is one of the youngest recipients of the prestigious Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Stampe has active membership in many local, state, and national dental organizations.  She has served as New Dentist Chairman for the Dallas County Dental Society, on the membership committee, and as an alternate delegate to the Texas Dental Association.  Her current memberships include the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Texas Association of Women Dentists where she has served as VP N.E., the American Dental Association, Christian Medical Dental Society, TDA, AGD, and the DCDS.  Dr. Stampe has served locally as a mentor to Wylie High School and has participated in the health professions internship program.

On the home front, Dr. Stampe and her husband Ken are actively involved in church, youth soccer and school activities. They have two children in the WISD which keep them very busy! 


Administrative Staff

 

Terri – Business Assistant :
Terri handles our billing and insurance filing, with her 32 years in the business she is bound to have the answer you're seeking. She strives for perfection in everything she does. Terri enjoys team building and working together to ensure patients obtain just what they want and need. She loves helping others and just that provides Terri so much fulfillment. She moved here from Southlake Tahoe her home town, to be with her husband here in Texas. In her free time she Barrel races with her Great Horse "Tucker", goes skiing and spends time traveling and visiting friends and family.

 

Tunisia – Business Assistant :
Tunisia's been with us since 2007, she has worked in the field of dentistry since 1999. She loves patents and feels she relates well to them from her wide range of experience from the back to front office. She has expanded training as a dental assistant, and now works in the front office as our Business assistant. She loves the relationships she builds with patients. Tunisia has been married for 7yrs to a native from Wylie, they live here with their two girls. She enjoys Shopping, walking and playing in the park with her girls. She is an active member of First Baptist Church Wylie.

Clinical Assistants

 

Christi – Registered Dental Assistant :
Christi's been with Wylie Dental since 2005, her dental experience spans 18 years. She loves meeting new patients and seeing friendly faces of returning clients. She strives to make them feel as comfortable as possible, and works with them to acheive their goals for a beautiful healthy mouth. Christy enjoys getting to know patients on a personal level and remembers the little details that make the practice feel like home. Christy lives here in Wylie with her husband and Son, her three doggies Lucy, Molly and PeeWee. She is an active member of Prestonwood Baptist Church. In her free time she enjoys walking, playing tennis and shopping.

 

Amber – Registered Dental Assistant :
Amber has been working in the field of dentistry since 2001, and has been with the practice since 2010. Amber always greets you with a smile. She loves working with the staff and serving the amazing patients at the practice. Her friendly demeanor and outgoing personality helps set the patients at ease. She also helps out doing front office duties, so you may catch yourself talking to her on the phone. Amber lives here in Wylie with her husband, Jason and their daughter, Ryley she is due this fall to add a new addition to the family. On the weekends Amber enjoys jogging, shopping, and being creative with arts and crafts.

 

Melissa – Registered Dental Assistant :
Melissa is a new addition here at Wylie Dental. She has been in the profession for 6 years now, and previous experience in Pedodontics. She loves the staff and camaraderie we have here at the office. Melissa enjoys working with patients and seeing how much changing someone's smile makes a difference. She knows assisting in creating that change makes coming to work everyday enjoyable. In her free time she loves spending weekends with her sisters and two kiddos and trekking them around town to their many sporting activities. She enjoys new adventures and challenges and is the perfect asset to our team, ready to jump in to anything.

Hygienists

 

Lisa - Dental Hygienist:
Lisa is a 1994 graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry, and started here at Wylie Dental in 1998. She brings experience and comfort to all her patients. She loves laughter and loves making her patients feel as ease with their visits. She also really enjoys meeting new faces and helping them achieve beautiful smiles. Lisa resides in Murphy with her husband Steve and son Braden. She has two furry animals Daisy and Cookie. When Lisa’s not at the office she enjoys working out, swimming and shopping.

 

Jacque - Dental Hygienist:
Jacque is a 2002 graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry and joined our practice upon completion of her degree. She graduated from Wylie High School and enjoys catching up with familiar faces and meeting new patients every day. Jacque strives to find out what is important to each individual patient and aims to help them achieve their goals. She finds joy in providing a thorough dental experience in conjunction with friendly conversation. In her free time she enjoys the outdoors and being active with her family.

 

Alania - Dental Hygienist:
Alaina recently joined our team in January 2011. Originally a native Oregonian she studied at Tallahassee Community College and graduated with honors in 2008. She moved to Texas to be with her husband Robert. They now live in Murphy with their furry little boy named Tucker, who’s the joy of their life. Alaina loves people, and feels privileged to serve others. She looks forward to building relationships with patients and people in the community. On her free time she is an active member in her Church, and praise team. She also loves being outdoors with her family, working out, and scrap booking.
