About Us

Dr. Stetler

Dr. Stetler graduated in 1985 from Baylor University in Waco. (Sic em Bears!) After completing his dental education at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, he started his dental practice in Wylie in 1989. The office moved to the present location in 1992. Dr. Stetler is involved in several organizations including the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and the Fourth District Dental Society. He is a member of the Peer Review Committee for the dental society.

Dr. Stetler is most proud of his membership in the Academy of General Dentistry. He recently completed the requirements needed for the prestigious Fellowship Award for the AGD. This award is only given to dentists who complete a minimum of 500 hours of continuing education and pass an eight hour examination. Less than 10% of all general dentists ever achieve this award. Dr. Stetler received his award aboard the USS Midway aircraft carrier in San Diego in June 2007.

Dr. Stetler has served as a Faculty Speaker/Lecturer for the Pride Institute, a dental consulting firm in San Francisco, California. He is involved wit the Wylie community, having served as a member of the Parks and Recreation Board and as Director for the Wylie Chamber of Commerce.

While attending Baylor University, he met his wife, Lori, a board certified Dermatologist in private practice in Dallas, Texas. The Stetlers are actively involved with their sons, Jeff and Brandon. They have lost count of how many baseball and basketball games they have witnessed! Dr. Stetler enjoys golf, snow skiing, and travel.

Dr. Stampe

Dr. Stampe earned her BS in biology from the University of North Texas and attended Baylor College of Dentistry, where she graduated as valedictorian in 1996. After graduation, she was one of five dentists chosen nationally to attend the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. It was here that she trained in implantology, cosmetic dentistry, and other advanced techniques. Dr. Stampe has completed more than 825 hours of continuing education and is one of the youngest recipients of the prestigious Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Stampe has active membership in many local, state, and national dental organizations. She has served as New Dentist Chairman for the Dallas County Dental Society, on the Membership Committee, and as an alternate delegate to the Texas Dental Association. Her current memberships include the Texas Association of Women Dentists where she has served as VP N.E., the American Dental Association, Christian Medical Dental Society, TDA, AGD, and the DCDS. Dr. Stampe has served locally as a mentor to Wylie High School and participates in the health professions internship program.

On the home front, Dr. Stampe and her husband Ken are actively involved in church and neighborhood activities, youth sports and chasing around their two young children. They also enjoy gardening and home projects which keep them very busy!

Administrative Staff

Jennie - Appointment Coordinator:
Part of the original team, Jennie has been with us for more than 15 years. She and her husband, Ron, live in Wylie. They have three grown children and nine grandchildren with another angel due in the fall. Jennie enjoys playing with her grandchildren and antiquing and is active at Lake Pointe Baptist Church in Rockwall. She said it has been a joy watching her patients grow up and becoming an integral part of our dental family.

Dondi - Financial Manager:
Dondi has a BBA in Finance and has been with the practice since 1992. She and her husband, Greg, live in Wylie and have two children, Tyler and Tawnee. They are active at First Baptist Church of Wylie as well as in their community. Dondi enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and going to sporting events. She loves to see patients return year after year because of the trust and confidence they have in our doctors and team.

Heidi - Recall Coordinator:
Heidi began her career as a dental assistant in 2001 and is currently working as the hygiene coordinator. She also recently became certified as a registered dental assistant. She and her husband Shaun have two sons, Cole and Hayden. They enjoy spending time outdoors and working in the yard. Heidi is a member at Firewheel Church in Garland, Texas. Heidi likes meeting patients and helping them meet their dental health goals.

Clinical Assistants

Sandy - Registered Dental Assistant :
Sandy became a registered dental assistant in 1988 and has served as Dr. Stetler’s assistant since 1996. She and her husband, Randy, have two daughters, Kaitlyn and Emily, as well as a westie named Mr. Jiggles. They enjoy family time and are active in the PTA and at their church, Cornerstone Baptist in Lucas. Sandy enjoys getting to know her patients personally and building their confidence with beautiful, healthy smiles.

Christi - Registered Dental Assistant :
Christi grew up in Midland, Texas, and went to Dental Assisting School in Aurora, Colorado. Christi and her son, Taylor, live in Wylie with their Boston Terrier, Lucy. Christi has worked as Dr. Stetler’s assistant since 2005. Her hobbies include tennis, walking, family and quality time with her son. She finds great satisfaction in getting to know her patients, as well as making them feel relaxed during treatment  and being happy with their results.

Queenie - Registered Dental Assistant :
Since September 1992, Queenie (Melinda) has served patients as a registered dental assistant in our office. Happily married to Steve (Bubba), they live in Wylie with Haley who attends WHS, Nana, two dogs and a cat. They also have three grown children and two grandchildren.  Queenie attends Cornerstone Baptist Church in Lucas and enjoys decorating, attending school activities, church activities and collecting “queen-themed” items. She wants her patients to feel comfortable and confident that they are receiving the best of care and are treated royally.

Susan  – Registered Dental Assistant :
Susan is from Greenville, Texas where she graduated from high school. She has been with our office for 6 years and has been in the dental profession for 34 years . She has two children, Amber and Lane, who are both married. She has one grandchild, Max, who is 2 years old and is expecting another grandbaby next year. Susan attends Mineral Heights Baptist church and enjoys cooking, watching movies, and spending time with her family. At work, she enjoys getting to know her patients and seeing the accomplished work in their smiles and feels fortunate to work with such a great team.

Hygienists

Lisa - Dental Hygienist:
Lisa, a 1994 graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry, began her job here in 1998. She lives in Murphy with husband Steve, son Braden, and their furry friends, Cookie and Daisy. Out of the office, she likes to shop on eBay, swim, and hangout with family and friends. Lisa looks forward to reconnecting with current patients when they come in and developing strong bonds with her new patients.

Jacque - Dental Hygienist:
A 1998 graduate of Wylie High School and a 2002 graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry, Jacque joined our team in 2002. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two children at their home in Princeton. Jacque believes in ensuring that her patients have sturdy, vibrant smiles for years to come.

Sharon - Dental Hygienist:
With 28 years in the profession, Sharon brings skill and experience to her position as hygienist. Her family includes two grown sons, six cats, and one dog. Outside of work, she spends time quilting and antiquing. Sharon devotes herself to improving patient health and teaching homecare tips to meet each patient's unique situation.

Kandice - Dental Hygienist:
Kandice earned her BS from Texas Woman’s University and has worked in the dental hygiene field for 10 years. We welcomed her to our group last year. Currently engaged to be married, she enjoys fitness, nutrition, and marital arts in her free time. Forging a connection with patients and helping them obtain optimal oral health remains Kandice’s goal.
